EZRAKH
The Artist
EZRAKH is a musician, songwriter, producer, educator and co-founder of New Jersey-based record label Thread Recordings and his own imprint Mystery Klub Records. He draws inspiration from the soulful and psychedelic sounds of his upbringing, and mixes R&B, rock, jazz, electronic, and world music to create an intrepid style of his own. He’s the bandleader of the Mystery Klub, his live performance ensemble; and he has performed in various capacities at venues such as the Institute for Contemporary Art at VCU, South by Southwest, AFROPUNK, Arcosanti, The Roxy, Williamsburg Music Hall, Pioneer Works, Converse Rubber Tracks and many more. He’s received his B.A. in Creative Arts Technology & Music from Bloomfield College of Montclair State University and is also an educator who has taught internationally in Kigali, Rwanda; Newark, NJ; and New Mexico where he is currently based.
